It's that Full Moon time again ✨🌕🌝 Full Moons are always special, like a portal opening between the human mind and the greater unknown... In Vedic Astrology, the Moon represents our mind, aka our subjective consciousness, and when we say it is 'full', it diametrically opposes (and directly faces) the Sun, our Soul. Full Moons are fertile and creative times, that is why the ancient astrological text Jaimini Upadesa Sutras relates a Full Moon in one's chart to authorship and teaching. This upcoming Full Moon in Pisces is especially powerful because it will be on the top of a planetary Kite configuration - something that occurs quite rarely. How this geometrical shape is formed: Sun, Saturn and Uranus all trine one another thus creating a Grand Trine. This is a harmonious aspect, and it takes place in Earth signs, thus supporting activities on the material plane and bringing concrete value in the world. It's worth mentioning that three Retrograde planets: Mars, Saturn and Pluto are working on the sign of Capricorn. There is A LOT of energy being put into our public persona, our authority, and strengthening our place in the world - note that Saturn is in its own sign and Mars is Exalted. However, Pluto will ALWAYS break down the expectations of what it influences, so in Capricorn it shows the world that the layers of control and rigidity need to be shed off. The beauty of the Kite configuration is that the Sun-Moon opposition triggers, or energizes that harmonious but also complacent Earth energy of the Grand Trine to take action. Moon in Pisces is key, as it stands on top of the Kite and brings a contemplative, introspective, dreamy solution to the concrete and earthy dilemma. The Moon sextiling Saturn and Uranus on the wings of the Kite will bring about opportunities for the solution to be implemented. Virgo and Pisces, the signs of the Sun and Moon, are both dual, so they focus on IMPROVEMENT, but Virgo is more about solving problems, dealing with enemies, tackling health issues in a more deductive and investigative manner. Pisces, however, is the last sign of the Zodiac, where everything gets dissolved and cleansed. The Moon rules the ocean tides, and the salty tastes, and Pisces represent all bodies of water, so this cleansing and receptive aspect is highly emphasised. Furthermore, Moon's Nakshatra will be Shatabishak, the '100 cures', adding to its healing quality, but not the Virgoan type of healing through logical deduction, but the Piscean healing through faith and surrender to something greater. Note that Jupiter, ruler of Pisces, is squaring Mercury, ruler of Virgo, deepening the tension between the man-made law (Mercury) and the natural law (Jupiter). Again, the answer now lies in Pisces, the sign where the two devotional and Brahmin Grahas Venus and Jupiter are very-well dignified. Cards of Truth-wise, 26 August is a King of Hearts day. This is a very nice overlap with the Piscean energy, as Hearts are compassionate, loving, devotional. The King of Hearts would sacrifice everything for those or that which he loves. It's like the parent, sacrificing for the love of family, or the martyr, sacrificing for the love of God. So, to sum it up, it's time to let go of old rigid habits that helped you endure some tough times but which are now no longer necessary. It's time to go with the flow, to surrender, to heal. HAPPY FULL MOON! ✨🌕🌝 P.S.: FULL MOON Video with Levi Cosijn will be uploaded today on my youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SluWywNAP1Y

When we look at the sky these days, we see the Nodes involved in an important karmic configuration. Now it’s really the time to talk about Rahu and Ketu since Mars is conjunct the South Node and Venus is joining the North Node within less than three degrees.
Mars and Venus themselves, masculine and feminine energies are currently opposing eachother within less than one degree. This opposition shows a need for balancing out these energies. Mars is the hunger, the drive to put something out there in the world, and Ketu is all about finding the hidden truth. Venus wants to soothe Mars’s hunger, but Rahu conjuncting it also reflects hidden vulnerabilities. By opening ourselves to our vulnerabilities, we may receive insight (Venus being the psychic) into what holds us back from discovering new ways of exerting our energies into the world, which is Mars. Neptune in Pisces is still trining Jupiter, the Lord of Pisces, in a very harmonious aspect that is allowing for opportunity to connect with something greater than ourselves. Astrologers Carmina Amza and Levi Cosijn will guide you towards deciphering the meanings of the current transits to your nodal placements in an interactive Zoom Workshop this Sunday, June 24 2018, from 4 p.m. U.K. time, 5 p.m. Germany, France, Belgium etc. You can check your local time zone with www.timeanddate.com A Zoom link will be provided to you before the meeting via e-mail. a On Friday, March 16, I had the pleasure of hosting a webinar focused on Relationship Capacity with my colleague, Vedic Astrology Counselor Levi Cosijn.
During three hours, we shared several factors influencing the way a person approaches relationships, including: how masculine and feminine energies work, Capacity yogas, Rahu & Ketu in relationships, the degree of planetary fulfillment (Lajjitaadi Avasthas), windows of opportunity for relationships with Dasas and Cards of Truth. The webinar attendees charts were used to illustrate the above factors, so everyone got a mini reading :) Watch 20 mins of the Webinar here: To order the full three hour recording, click here: https://bit.ly/2GkYhmk Please mention 'Relationship Webinar' when placing the order ~~ Last week I posted this video about Venus and its manifestations. The topic is way too interesting and vast, so I thought I’d do a little spin-off, more precisely, I’d like to expand a bit on naturally-occurring hexagon shapes, given that Venus manifests number six and said-hexagons.
These past days I’ve been thinking of the relationships between the 4 suits, and especially between Spades and Diamonds.
Spades are the first suit and relate to self-development on all levels. In fact, the other three suits are an echo of the spade suit, as all the Hearts carry within the vibration of the 2 of Spades, all Clubs encapsulate the
Our everyday lives are infused with romance. Even TV/internet shows and commercials - which are nothing but a symbolic representation of our current values as a society- tend to show happiness as being part of a relationship, or a relationship being the top goal in life - worth buying cologne or leg shavers for. So we can say there is a general tendency as a society to rely on romance in hopes of fulfilling ourselves.
Isn't it funny though how the most memorable love stories ever told are not those where the protagonists live happily ever after, but where they are consumed by their passion and doomed by outer circumstances, or 'fate'. Such are the classic love stories or Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, or the more contemporary 'Casablanca' or ‘Love Story’. So I guess we tend to have a sweet tooth for bad romance. Speaking of sweet tooth and bad romance, I got the idea for writing this article while having a random thought about Heath Ledger and his movie 'Candy". I'll tell you more about it in a bit.
So I posted a few videos on my eponymous Youtube channel. I'm still figuring things out but the quality will only get better, and so will my flow, so have a little patience with me, mkay? :)
Here is a video on Compatibility, mostly from the Cards of Truth point of view, but also encompassing Jaimini and other Jyotish elements. It's 50 minutes long hehe: And here's one exclusively explored with Jyotish, only 19 mins long ;) |
