So... It's that time of the year again. Lock your doors, hide your children, cause Mercury is going Retrograde!
These days, there's a viral video (actually, a mini documentary) called 'I needed color' - find it here - , of Jim Carrey in his art studio and talking about the cathartic experience of painting, so I thought I'd explore that shift in his interest with astrology and cards, aka Cards of Truth system.
So today we're going to be looking into one of the most publicized and epic rivalries in motor sports: that between Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna. Through the TV screens, these two appeared as having very different personalities and driving styles, but exploring their birth card spreads with the help of Cards of Truth and Jaimini elements will reveal many inner similarities as well.
This blog post was inspired by watching and discussing Corey Dowds (aka Eye of the Veda)'s youtube video on the correlation between Lady Luck and Lakshmi (Venus in Vedic writings) .
Some months ago, I started doing this research on famous musicians (mostly singers) charts. My initial goal was to see how Jaimini principles apply, and boy, do they apply :)
I’m sure somebody else thought of this already, but it just clicked for me like I was the first to ever think about it so I had to share.
So this is Part II of exploring the color palette linked to each Zodiac Sign (Rasi), and we'll be looking at pretty flowers illustrating Libra to Pisces.
So I'm making this post with a little help from my Brahmin Graha friend, Venus. Since Venus is the Karaka of flowers, I thought it would be interesting to go through the Zodiacal Sign (Rasi) spectrum by looking at some of the prettiest specimens within the flora kingdom :)
So the other day I was at the park, feeding the swans dandelion leaves which I noticed they really love.
And that instantly made me think of the mutual planetary friendship between Sun and Mars. How did one lead to the other?
We all know how important the Moon’s influence is upon Earth as a whole - from controlling tides and directing sap in all plants, all the way to shaping seasons. Our life as part of this Earth is reflected in the natal chart - which is definitely not excluded from the lunar influence.
